The challenges of a start-up are numerous and of course we each have our own. This week IDG has been dealing with a handful of our own but I’d love to hear your thoughts on the following.
Visualization- We agree, when it comes to describing our process to entrepreneurs and investors, our impact to funders, and our value proposition to potential partners; nothing speaks louder than a clear picture or diagram. Our working document is the IDG Process Circle, it clearly identifies our core processes and maps out the extended components.
It’s as complex as IDG is and helps us communicate with developers, designers and other internal stakeholder. However, we’re also looking for a way to visualize a condensed overview. Ideally it would be one that could show how our tools create combined and unique values for both the entrepreneur and investor, thus reducing the transaction costs of investment.
We’ve tried linear approaches, we’re curious about matrices and open to other ideas. Have a look at the circle and let us know, any thoughts?
